Why not post the wheelbase of that 39 you're working on and maybe someone here will be able to recommend something that's the same? :Do No:

    Welcome aboard!!:TU:

Several options available....depending on your budget of course!!

My brother has a '38 2-door sedan. We measured the wheelbase around 123", just for comparison.

There has been a beautiful 38 2-door sedan at the GS Nationals the last several years (owned by Larry Bell). He used a '70-'81 Camaro front subclip....the front of the steering box JUST clears the driver's fender - it's tight!!. The 2nd Gen F-body subclips are easy to work with and obtain. Rack and pinion steering might be a cleaner install....little easier to work around too!!

Some guys use a '78-'88 A or G body frame, or at least, the front part of it. Good parts availability too.

And of course, there is the popular Mustang II front suspensions out there. Pretty simple and they work pretty good. Lots of options as far as rotor size, lug pattern, etc. They have good header clearance, which is always important.

If money isn't an issue (wouldn't that be nice)...you could order up a frame already done from Art Morrison, or one of those type of places.

Plenty of options for the rear suspension....10 or 12 bolt GM, 9" Ford, Vette or Jag IRS, etc.

Whichever route you want to go, we're all here to help!!:TU:

BTW, let us know which part of the country you're in and at least sign the bottom of your posts with your first name - keeps us all on a friendly, first name basis. Thanks.
