3rd Brake Light anyone?

    Hey all,

Has anyone installed a third brake light in the back window of their 70-72 Skylark? I'm all about 'more is better' when it comes to letting other (idiot) drivers know what I'm doing.
I'm sure it would have to be a pedestal type to stand up off the package tray? Or maybe something that mounts at the top of the window? Getting the angle of the backlite would be a big plus. Is there an after market light that is angled perfectly to the window?
I have no problem junkyard crawling to grab something, but if someone has already done it and can save me some time measuring and all that, I'd appreciate it.

    Ideas?

In my 73, I used one from a late 90's Suburban that was mounted on the roof. I mounted it with Velcro to the lower trim between the glass and package shelf because I was unable to drill mounting holes with the glass installed because even with a 90* drill, the angle was too great. It's barely visible until the brakes are applied. I would post pictures, but for some reason, this site won't let me today. I'll try later.

Back in the day, JC Whitney used to sell the pedestal add-on type.
