I am wondering if the 70-72 4 door skylark will work on the sportwagon. Being the wheel base is the same. I am looking at just about the body line down.

    Anyone know???

If you are asking if a 4-door rear quarter panel will work on a Sportwagon the answer is no.

I don't think you could even use it as a patch panel unless you only need about 1" behind the wheel.

The Sportwagon quarters are longer behind the wheel, straight on the bottom, plus the hole for the marker light is different, and would be in a different place.

The 4-door quarters look identical to the 2-door models behind the rear wheels.
    Does this help?

Thanks, Duane Yeah it does help. What about infront of the wheel well around the door jamb area?

It would probably only be the same from the rocker panel to the top of the wheel opening. From there up it would most likely be the same for only 1" behind the rear doors, but even that would be questionable.

If you are cutting an original 4-door panel off a car there would not be anything left once you are done trimming. If you are getting an NOS 4-door quarter you may have a chance.
