Was there ever any option for what looks like a guage opening in the 4speed console in a '70 GS? Dave
The tach option used to be there pre 70. With the new dash design for 70 the tach option has a dash hole or for the X cars the hood tach. So for 70 I have never seen the hole filled from the factory except with the tri- shield emblem. I have seen a car in which the owner put a tach is that position evn though it was a post 69 car.
