After many trips out of state on promises like 'No Rust', 'Laser Straight' and 'You won't be disappointed', only to find just the opposite of all those....someone suggested sending an electronic SOS message to my Buick Breatheren in the hopes finding a keeper (I've owned my current '71 GS for 21 years). Looking for a stock appearing, non-air/low option, 4 speed, hard top or post 1965-66 Gran Sport (first choice), or 1967 GS or 1970-71 GS. Like dark colors w/ black interiors but flexible. Also prefer w/o vinyl top, but open too. Not a big numbers match guy as I wish to drive the car (weird, huh?), so a really well done clone or resto mod is o.k. too...like a richmond/tremec five/six speed conversion would be just fine. Biggest need is a really clean, all steel, well done, professional quality car. Plan would be I give you the money, you give me the keys and I could take it to a car show that day and be proud. Pricing is obviously negotiable, but I use publically available pricing guides as a baseline (e.g. Haggerty, NADA, Collector Car Market Review and my best source; other Buick Nutz I know).
