4 speed setup

    1970 M20 10 spline, factory hurst linkage and correct handle bracket, correct 68-72 Buick shifter in nice condition, shifter floor boot, retaining ring,floor hump,pedal bracket under dash, painted pedals, block ball stud,misc bushings ect. All in very nice racy to install condition .$2500

    What no steering collumn, 4 speed speedometer? :)

    Really I wanted to know what the deal was M 20 wide ratio and < 21 was close? ANy difference as to which engine did 455 get a wide or close 350?
    I am kind of interested also so put me in line behind these other guys

    Not really an engine thing. The highway rear gear will usually get the wide ratio because it has the low first gear. It does have a little wider gear spread between 3rd and 4th. The close ratio is a nice trans with the right gear (3.73-4.56)but the wide ratio is really better for the street due to the low first gear. It helps when you want to get all that weight moving and when you drive one it is easy to tell the difference. It is personal preference but that is why you see more wide ratio trans.
