For my 70-GS....i know its a shot in the dark since 4-speed consolettes are hard to find nevermind a boot retainer ring but...my consolette is missing the ring that hold the shifter boot around the opening. Anyone maybe have one lying around? I might even buy a whole consolette just to get the ring! Let me know guys! :beer
Ray, If you end up getting having to buy a console, I might be interested in it. Mines in bad shape. The guy left the ash tray full and the cigar ashes ate through it in spots. I'm looking at getting it repaired only because the cost of the consoles are crazy, however, if you find one with the part you need, I might take the rest. If it's not a arm and a leg. Rich
Ray are you looking for the chrome upper one or the plain metal one? Not sure but thougt I had an extra plan one but it was rusty but cannot seem to find it. Will keep looking. Thanks Bill.
