4 speed speedometer + speed alert & pointed lense

You ask me that, but there is not one person on the board who claims I am wrong that has posted a pic of there supposedly correct 4 speed speedometer yet. Wonder why?

 

Gobuick, if this is such a correct part and your so hurt on me ruining your sale, then why not just second chance offer it to the person who was just under ajesh's bid? If it is correct and something has been proven here then there should be ten guys waiting in line to buy your great deal.

 

I thought his pictures on ebay said enough to me, but maybe we can have Frank take more pics of the underside of the outer case? Since the Ebay auction never got that far with the pics. And we have been speaking of his speedo the whole time, so if it did not have the cutout I am sure for his own sanity he would have said otherwise.

Andrew, What you saw in the ebay auction was the inside of the case & not a cut out in the case. Here are a couple more pics.

 

I find that absolutely amazing that we have been discussing this speedo issue about your's the entire time Frank, and you all of a sudden you come forward with a speedo which has no hole in the bottom. You can clearly see the towel through the speedometer you placed in your ebay acuction.

All I have to say to any of this nonsense Frank is that I saved your front pic of the speedo off of the auction and saved it to my pictures. Then I went into Irfanview and resized the picture to about 3200x2400 and that picture in itself says a 1000 words.

Look at the color and texture of the towel the speedo is laying on, next take a good look at the towel's color and texture showing through in the same fashion through the clear lens where the hole in the speedo case is. Enough said, thanks much your free t-shirt is in the mail.

 

The pictures Frank just posted sure look right to me, I see no reason to think this is an incorrect part.

Plenty of people have posted pics of their original 4-speed speedos, so where's the problem.

You are clueless, that is the inside of the case you are looking at. That is the one & only speedometer I have with the speed alert & there is NO hole in the case.

 

Resize it and you will see this guy is the next areed trying to get over on somebody. Last I checked they did not model the inside of those speedo's to look like your towel. Sorry Frank, but your not fooling me buddy.:spank: Your free T-Shirt is still in the mail btw.:sleep:

As I stated for anyone who really wants to know what Frank is selling then they will play with the pixel size and see this hoax.

Not coming back on a day late and $300 + plus dollars short. All to place the blame on me for your unworthy auction.

For Ajesh, be glad you backed out of the sale. I would not have told you anything different; especially now that Frank is coming out with the bogus pics of another speedo. Enjoy your money in another fashion.

Does any one have any experience w/ this vendor: http://www.tachman.com ?

I have heard of this guy before for resto of guages, speedos and tachs, but wanted to know if anyone has used him before. He apparently rescreens the faces (guages, tachs & speedos) to look OEM and can restore the inner workings and make compatible w/ HEI's, etc.

Aside from the hole in the 4spd case, if a speedo face can be rescreened correctly, couldn't the automatic trans gear info "P R N D 2 1" be left off the face to make a 4speed face from an automatic face?
