Looking to maybe get out of 1 of my project cars and just buying a nice driver. I have a budget in the low $20K and down. Looking for a 4 speed BB 65-72 GS (I like em all!) Just wanting a nice shiney, jump in and drive car. Does not have to be a #'s car, drive train mods are welcome. Don't mind a lower $$ car that needs little things. Cole, I know of a nice 70 GS 455 4 speed with numbers matching drivetrain in your price range and it's on this coast. did i mention it's factory black?
Get to high 20s and you can have my 71GS455 convert 4spd. Yes it is not originally that. Folklore has it that it was one of six GS350 column shift cars, reconfigured to one of 18 GS455 converts. It has a problem right now with the coolant system and the clutch chatters. But the cosmetics are all good. Just a couple things mechanically to do. For the money, this is a good deal. Trust me on that. I've been watching Barratt Jackson and these cars aren't cheap. Although at that price, taking a loss from the peak a few years ago and what I have into it.
Your car is beautiful for sure Mike! That's my problem with a budget of $22K or less including my shipping,taxes etc that I have to stick to seeing what my money will buy maybe an effort. Or I'll have to hawk a lot more parts:TU: :beers2: ............Cole

pdx mike here on the board. the car is worth every penny he is asking. there is over 10 grand in the engine, trans and a few other parts. I lost my ass when i sold that car.
I thought it would be him. I made the mistake of selling my 70 black on black 50k mile body last year to financ e the Suncoupe. If only I could get it finished I would love to snag "your old car"

Ill call him and see if hes wanting to sell still. But it might be a bit more than your budget but im not sure. Ill let you know.
