I'd like to put an LS motor in my 67 Buick...I want something fuel injected with air conditioning! Anyway that means the current powerplant need to go. It's a 400 Buick Big Block with 5,000 miles on it. Still fresh. Runs great, sounds even better. 1969 400 block, .030 over, new pistons, bearings etc. 1970 455 heads redone, TA performance cam & lifters, Poston S-Divider aluminum intake, Edelbrock 750 carb, electric choke. TA performance headers. Full MSD, distributor, wires, & 6A box.

The trans is a rebuilt turbo 350 with a custom converter from frank lupo's dynamic converters. This setup pushed my 4000 lb. wagon down the strip in 13.7 seconds at 98 mph. Throw this in a Regal and you'll be in the 12's. Bore it out to a 455, add a wild cam, taller intake and port the heads and the sky's the limit...

I have approx. $5000 into this setup, asking $2500. The drivetrain will remain in the car so you can take it for a test drive.

Me and you aren't so far off, Ian. Was just considering the same thing... I came across a KILLER deal on a full LS1/4L60 swap. You're moving faster than me, if you want the info.

$1500 for the full swap and local. If that sounds good, shoot me a PM.

No go on Faulkner except for the last show of the year. Too many old dudes that don't drive their cars :bglasses:
