Hello, I am building my first car which is a 1969 skylark. My sister was kind enough to kill the motor for me, which made me start looking for another one. I am looking for a big block and would prefer a 430. I am not made of money as I am only 14. My goal is to go to the local cruise night on my permit. If you could help me to reach this goal it would be appreciated. Some other parts I am looking for are an inner fender well for passerger side along with everyone else. I have an 8.5 rearend and need a posi unit and a set of gears for it, somthing in the low to mid threes. My dad has some 68 and 69 skylark/ GS parts for possible trade. I live in St. Louis MO and am willing to drive 6 to 8 hours for parts, maybe more if its a good deal. If you would rather talk to me on the phone my number is (314) 428 7145

Thank you very much for taking the time to helping me. Thanks, Gary

I have a complete 67 430 was running when pulled. Very good core $400

    I'm in Goodlettsville TN.

Great to see a young man getting into "real" cars and wrenching at such a early age. :3gears:

Miles are unknown, no noises, but engine ran a bit rough. could be tuning issues, carb, cam lobe down or burned valve...who knows?

Good engine for re-build but likely not for quick gas and go!
