455 air cleaner lid color????

    What is the correct air cleaner lid for my 71 GS 455? Chrome or black??? It has a chrome lid now with a rubber gasket in it. I have NO idea if it is correct... :Do No:

    As far as I know all 70-72 GS air cleaner lids were originally black and the chrome lid was available as an over the counter GM accessory.
