Jeff, The rod journal on a stock 455 Buick is 2.25 and the main is 3.25. If you look at the pictures the mian journal appears to be only slightly larger than the rod. Maybe its just me... But ask the seller to make sure. There was a 494 Buick for sale on ebay a while back. The components didn't look right so I asked for the STROKE, ROD LENGTH AND PISTON COMPRESSION HIEGHT. After adding up the numbers the piston would have stuck out of the block .100. So.. someone got the short end on that deal. I just say... buyer beware. Take Care
