Rob's are very nice, but they're not fabricated.... they're machined.

Here are mine. PM me for more info.

    Thanks,
    Steve

Nice job to both of you, lot of time put in these projects not to mention material costs.

    Thanks,
My material costs are on the high side, but I can't imagine what Robs costs are for chunks of billet that size!! Robs valve covers are definitely a masterpiece!

    Steve,

How much for yours? Do you also do polishing?

    Thank you.

They start at $500.00 / pr. for just plain flat covers and go from there.

They start at $325 for bare (with no accessories) and have additional costs for features welded on. As an example an O-ring style screw in filler cap as pictured above is $55 installed.

These have 1/4" thick bases made of 6061 T6 and the bodies are 5000 series .090" sheet aluminum.

I used to offer the fully polished version for $100 extra, as that's what the local polishers charged me, but I haven't sent them a pair in years, so I don't know what the current costs are. One thing I do know is that they polish up very easily. If I take a set "as welded" and apply a quality aluminum polish by hand, they have the look of a "semi polished" valve cover. If I had to rate the shine I would give it a 7 out of 10 (10 being full polish).

I would apply the aluminum polish and machine buff it off (for an even better finish) for $20 per set... just to cover my costs.
