Looks to be a 1971 Intake? Awesome intake - would be interested if it was a 1970 part #.

    Here's a bump for ya!

    Hi Jeff
How firm are you on the 600?

Somewhat negotiable, trying recoup some funds to help with a loss on my original build.

Forgot to mention if anyone is having Mike at AM&P building them an engine, the intake is at his shop so you could save on the shipping. :Brow:

TTT...might swap for that rare piece or peices I cannot find for my 70 GS.

What type of power were you able to get with this intake? What was the rest of the combo?

The machinist in far west Texas who built the original build claimed 562 hp with a high compression 494. Not sure if his numbers were true and accurate knowing what I have learned since opening the engine up for inspection. Check Greg Gesslers web sight for some better insight on these intakes. My original plan was to go high horsepower and look stock appearing, but things have changed.

No doubt, somewhat of a blessing, but I am out more than $4500 with this ordeal plus even more just to fix the mess he made.

Sorry to hear Jeff. I always wondered how that engine worked out.
