Disclaimer........I know so many people has asked for rebuild help, so if you know of any helpfull previous posts please just tell me. i dont want to be too redundant.

so, here is the deal: i have a completly dissasembled 1971 455 siting on an engine stand that i am going to start a rebuild on, all the bolts however are just tossed into a bin, not labeled or anything. some are busted, some are stripped, and some are rounded, so i planned on buying a whole new bolt set. i think ta offers this, does anyone else? what steps should i take to accomplish a strong street runner. i am not looking at going to drag strips or the like just a nice strong street machine, that sounds good and has the guts when i want it. also does anyone know any respectable machine shops in the midwest (MN, IL, OH, KS, IA, SD, ND, WI, etc....) It will eventually go into a 70-72 skylark when the rebuild is done. thanks for all the help.

Year One has a nice "complete engine bolt kit" in stainless steel for less than $30.00 (i think). Nothing fancy....not polished....hex head.

Has JUST ABOUT every external bolt you will need :TU: ....except for exhaust man./header bolts.
