ive been thinking about my engine rebuild, but had a few questions and wanted your opinion on a few things. im just looking for lots of low end. i doubt the engine will ever see the other side of 5500. tell me if any of the following is overkill.

forged or cast pistons, im thinking forged
most likely ill go with headers, but the 67 manifolds flow pretty well.
    mechanical or electric fuel pump
ill need help picking a cam but not right now
my plan is to use my 67-400 heads theyr supposedly better.
roller rockers, arent necessary are they?
    adjustable pushrods
    deep sump oil pan
    electric fans

so the plan is to keep it looking pretty stock.

most likely a mech. fuel pump
    850 quad with 1" spacer
the stock manifold isnt so great so ill get an edelbrock, (one of the few concessions to my sleeper theme)
forged pistons and moly rings (10.25-1)
stock forged rods with new bolts, i hear theyr pretty beefy
    hydraulic cam making power 1000-5500
adjustable pushrods (one of the only ways to make valvetrain adjustments on a buick)
dist. converted to hei (stealthily) or just find a used hei
    stock(new) waterpump, starter, alt. etc
    1-7/8 headers with 3-1/2 collectors
