I have two 455 timing covers. The red one is a 70 and has some wear in the oil pump housing. The other one seems very nice but is 71 later. I am just being over picky. The timing mark only goes to 8 on the 70. Thank you to Rob for the info. Nelson
That's actually interesting... I will look at the ones I have.... So is that 70 Only? What about the 67-69 400 430's?
I just had this conversation with Jim. The oil passenges are bigger in the 71 and up. When the change was made to block to have a 5/8 Vs 1/2 oil hole the covers were increased as well.
