I just did some parts yanking yesterday and now have extra parts for sale. These are the factory pieces from a '73 Buick 455 in an Electra. Every item is "as it was pulled" so expect to do some cleaning and maybe painting if going on a nice motor. All parts come with the original mounting hardware. If you need more info or pics than just ask. 1) 800 cfm Quadrajet. Runs but has an internal vac leak. It has a brand new filter/spring/o-ring installed and also comes with a new base gasket which is still sealed. No cracks or breaks and all the threads are good. It's from a '73 so it has EGR and AIR provisions. This is $50 plus shipping but I'll go cheaper for a local pickup/delivery. Shipping will be very expensive because of the weight so plan accordingly. 3) EGR valve and solenoid. I tested this out and it appears to be in full working order. This is $25 plus shipping but I'll go cheaper for a local pickup/delivery 4) Thermostat housing. Didn't show any signs of leaking and no cracks. This is $10 plus shipping but I'll go cheaper for a local pickup/delivery 5) Divorced choke assembly including rod and even the tiny clip. Worked perfectly. This is $20 plus shipping but I'll go cheaper for a local pickup/delivery 6) Air cleaner assembly. Needs paint and a new decal because it was painted blue at some point in its life. Comes with an air filter which only has a couple hundred miles on it, and also the air cleaner stud and wing nut both in great condition. This is $20 plus shipping but I'll go cheaper for a local pickup/delivery 7) Original fuel line for non-stage 1 pump to carb along with the mounting clips that holds it to the waterpump. No leaks or cracks. This is $20 plus shipping but I'll go cheaper for a local pickup/delivery If you want to package items it would save me trouble and time so you'd get a discount. If you bundle and do a local pickup you could get a jaw dropping price. All parts are located in Framingham Ma 01702. Shipping would be done through the post office unless the buyer would rather otherwise.
So far the carb is either going to Ken in a local deal or to Dan as per the PM. There's interest on the air cleaner from someone else.
The carb is spoken for after we figure out a couple details with it The choke is spoken for The thermostat housing is spoken for Intake, Air cleaner, EGR, and Fuel line are still available. Right now the intake still has the EGR, EGR solenoid, heater hose fitting, AIR blockoff plate, and 2 prong temp sensor installed. If someone wants the intake before the EGR is spoken for than they get it as a complete package as I just described. I'll even throw in the throttle return spring and bracket.
Forgot to add in the throttle solenoid. It's the stock one for 1973 and most likely other years too. $20 and it's yours
