I probably have something that's in pieces. We do have a 73 Electra with the complete engine in it, but I'm not sure what's wrong with it. Possibly some spun bearings. I'm located in WY, but know of people that go your direction once in awhile. Tim tcarson@vcn.com
I have a 455, not sure of the year, the code on the block is XF which I believe is a 73 or 74. Someone would have to chime in here with the codes. I'm even in the same state about 50 miles North of St Louis MO. I bought this motor off the dirt floor of barn so it's plenty dirty, it will definatly need a rebuild. If your at all interested I'll check that it turns over easy and all that. The front cover is definatly good, I've been saving it as a spare. I'd have to get $180 for it delivered half way to you. 455 for sale I know a guy that has a good one-a 71,with Kenne Bell roller rockers,valve covers,forged pistons-needs freshened up. He wants $1500-it is a good motor-but he'll probably take less. We're in Cali though,in the hills east of Sacramento.530-263-3698
