    gs4u2c Is that a 442?

The official name was sedanette, commonly called a fastback or torpedo back. They are fairly rare and the Roadmaster and Super models bring quite a bit, Specials are cheaper.

There is always a spot in my garage for a 48 or 49 sedanette. LOVE that styling :TU:

    Also...

Buick sometime called them "Jetback", although this may have only been 1950 and newer.

I think these are just works of art. Looked for mine for several years before finding the right one, picktured in my avatar, a '49 RM w/ 38K actual, but needing attention. One of these days....

I found a running '49 Roadmaster sedanette about 4 years ago for $4K and passed it over. I've been kicking myself ever since. :spank: Cool cars :ball:
