I saw on the Real Olds Power web site that a Chevy 4L80E can be made to operate like a 6 speed (or T400 w/gear venders OD), by using a $6-800 stand alone controller from B&M or TCI. Besides reprogramming for firmer shifts and changing shift points, the controller can make the tranny a 6 speed, that is splitting each gear. Supposedly pretty tough in stock form and starting to show up in junkyard. Using a BOP adapter plate it should work great behind my 455. Has anyone here seen this done and does anyone have any first hand experience? Thanks for any help. Jarhead
