Anybody using these on a healthy cam on the street? How far can you push them? Anybody broke one on the road? Had them on a 241*/.504"/110* TA Hemi-killer with solids. No problems with breakage thru 6000 rpm. Tempted to use on my 255*265*/.558"/110* TA-510 with solids. Poor man can't afford roller lifters for $625.00.

I'm using them on my engine. Guessing I have about 500 HP or so. I did break the adj. tip off of one one time, but I think it may have been from overtightening. They just need to be snugged up good, not torqued down.

I'M using them on my 464 with TAs 210s-hl cam 245/255 540 lift 110 lc , i broke one when i was adjusting it as well . just a note here if you are going to use one of TAs solid cams, and you are useng there lifter, be warned they are using a chevy lifter rather than a buick lifter and the lifter is a hundred and seventy thousanths shorter . which means you should order your pushrods that much longer instead of using a standard lenght . i didnt know this until i put my engine together and had a very hard time adjusting the lash because i couldnt get a wrench on the bottom nut , it was too far in the head . so, i called ta and they told me about the lifter , which they should have done when i orderd the stuff considering i spent over 5 g there, well you live and you learn .mike

I am currently running them on my motor with the ta-408s and have not had any problems out of them.
