I was looking through an old magazine the other day that had the original 50 Fastest list in it. It was interesting to look at the old times, and at the same time I was thinking of the times that some of you from the PSMCDR run today in some of those vehicles on the list. I think it would be cool once we get this years race result's to maybe make our own 50 Fastest List, or at least match-up car's from the original list to car's from the PSMCDR with the same driveline combo, just to see how far we've come since back then, and to maybe see how the pecking order may have changed over the years. Remember, this is just something for fun to do while not racing:Smarty: Don't need anyone taking it too seriously, I realize that this is comparing apples to squash, 30+ year old possibly falsified magazine result's to modern higher tolerance machined engine's,better tire's,better track,better driver's. Some car's on the list don't/can't participate at the PSMCDR (A.C. Cobra for example) and some car's on the list have just never been brought to an event. Can someone paste the original list here?
My car might make that list thats a big WOW for me LOL kind of lke the SS titanic in a hydoplane race LOL.. Paul
