53 Buick Special v8

    A 53 V8??
    I would love a 53 with a couple less doors than that though!

    That is sweet. most 53s i see had the straight 8, maybe more sold then the 322 nailhead that year?

    ha! forgot about that. maybe they swapped it out or it was a special order special?

    It's a straight 8. They have advertised it in the past as as 53 Buick Special V8.
    Followed by saying it was a straight 8. They may be confused. A Buick V8 would be a nice upgrade.

    the straight 8 is not a bad engine. my uncle did a frame off every nut and bolt restore on a 52 with a straight 8 and that thing is so smooth running its amazing.

    I agree and I would be the last one to say anything bad about a Buick straight 8. Smooth as silk.
