Looks legit to me. The seats are definitely Skylark. 50K for a project seems high to me. Just to think that I missed out on a local solid driver for 1800. about 20 years ago. Fellow I know of in Ocala, Fla area recently sold a '54 project like that for 20K.
53 & 54 skylark conv's are money in the bank. if somebody bought the 54 for for 20k and its not bad, he got a deal.
