Interested in a good to mint condition handle and black knob. One that just needs to be rechromed would be fine. Also interested in everything needed to convert from an auto. to a 4 spd. ('72 Stage 1)I do have a nice bell housing, but will need everything else. I know there are some repro parts, and would be interested in hearing from anybody that has experience with those on what's good or equal to the original parts. My goal is to convert my '72 Stage 1 convertible and have it look factory.
i have a handle with a black shifter ball it might be a 5335 but i have to check..I just checked its a 7235
Have the handle at my work. Cant get it until Monday however Its the same as the one in my car now. Chrome is nice and has black ball without numbers. I can send a pic to your email. mrbuick65@rogers.com John
Tim, if the one doesn't work out with John, there was one on eBay a few months ago that didn't sell & I think I have the link saved. If it does work out and you don't need the plain unmarked black ball (I'm assuming your vert is bench seat), let me know & I'd be interested in it.
Hey StratoTim...if you are NOT in a hurry, stuffed away packed in storage unit, I KNOW, I have at least one, maybe two, complete 4 speed BUICK setups including trannys, zbars, shifters linkages and yes, even a consolette. I have a older, REPLATED 5335 shifter that I planned to use some 15 or so years ago, its still perfect, and well wrapped. These would be factory, original parts, NOT aftermarket, would prolly require cleaning & restoration. PM me for details IF serious! I would be interested. A '72 date code transmission by chance ? If I'm going to cut a hole in my perfect floor, I want to make it all as correct as possible :Brow: I may consider adding cruise control, as that would be a cool option. Hadn't ever considered adding the 8 track, but you never know.

Hey StratoTIm, I located SOME of the parts you are looking for. I have several Buick HURST shifters as shown. YOU get first right and I will decide if I want to sell the other shifters/levers or not.... 3 LEVELS of shifter quality: FIRST: (first 3 pix) is an original unrestored 5335 Buick lever with the complete original Hurst shifter #3138. Original Black ball, 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th linkages, however, reverse linkage hasnt been located yet. SECOND: (next 3 pix) nice, unrestored decent 5335 Lever, white ball is NOT included (its a 3 speed ball) Lever ONLY. THIRD: last 3 pix, REPLATED original 5335 lever ONLY, black ball, small pitting along the bottom is hidden under the boot. I know I have linkages, z bars, trannys and a whole lot more, I just ran oudta time today. Lemono what you think so far. Wheelz, Tampa Bay
