Hi! I just got my kit from Mike Pemberton to convert to power disc brakes, and was wondering if anyone out there has already done a 57.I am wondering what booster and master cylinder you used. Were you able to attach it to that vent ductwork like the stock one? I'm wondering if it needs reinforcing or not, and if there is enough clearance at the hood hinge for an 11" booster as he suggests or should an 8" be used? Also what did you do about the pedal? Is there enough travel on the old linkage to keep the origional? Also what did you do to extend the shaft on the booster to get it long enough with that vent housing keeping it farther out for attachment? I don't know my Buicks that well, Is a 58 similar to the 57 on the firewall. I understand that the pre 57's had the master cylinder mounted lower down? Thanks for any help Jim.
