Looking for a 61/62 Skylark, preferably a hardtop. Body must be solid.

I've got a nice clean one that I'd rather not part with, but I will if the price is right.

It's an original high-option 2-door post coupe with power steering, Leather, Posi, and dealer-installed air. I converted it over to use an alternator, rebuilt the carb, and put all new steel brake lines in. It runs like a top.

Around 61k miles and has no rust because it sat in a barn for 18 years. Needs a front fender and the bumper straightened, but it's nothing all that bad.

Make me an offer and maybe my wife will get off my case about it. :)

No, I guess not. Did you send me a PM through the board, or a regular email?

I have a 62 special wagon that would make a great hot rod. It has a 215. The body has some rust but it is manageable. im asking 1700.

    Art-

You might want Joe's then. I'll probably want around $6k for mine because I have about that much in it.

For what it's worth, mine has the 215 too, and an automatic.

I know where there is a straight '62 Special 4-door in Sacramento, CA. This would be a great parts car for a Wagon. The car is complete minus motor, he is asking $500 or best offer. Let me know if you are interested, (208)384-1364 or stage1@coltnet.net .

    Thanks,
    Tim
