Right now, I am having tranny problems...at some time the tranny was overfilled, blew the seals and I have wound up with metal .in the filter:Dou:(long story)Any other trannys you guys would put in, or should I stick with the original Turbine Drive ?. Sammy,
Welcome to the joys of owning a classic car. I can't speak for others but for me determining to keep a car stock or modifying it depends on what I am going to do with the car. If you are planning on keeping it for a little while, enjoying it and then moving on I would keep it stock. Most buyers I have found do not want to deal with someone else's modifications. Most of the time corners have been cut and they are not done correctly. If you are planning on keeping it then upgrade, modify as you see fit and to your liking. Good luck with your 61. She is a beauty.

Welcome to the Board! Luv those GM bubbletops.
IMO, that car is begging to be lowered. A more aggressive stance will make the car.

    Good luck! :TU:

Nice looking 61 Sammy, you'll love em.

I have one just like Chris's bagged one, mine's blue. Great car, and gets heaps of attention.

I'm a huge fan of customising, these things were designed for 20's and bags !!
