Hi, this is my build up of my 61 skylark. Going to be a gasser not a truck though, just havn't gotten the front tires altough I have the wheels sittting inside it. Anyways so far it lost the subframe up front and all susp in back. Up front now I have a straight tube axle and parallel leafs and in back I have parallel leafs and a ford 8.8. Also installed a big 2x4 cross brace to and used it to mount rear hangers. Lastly I cut out the hat channels in the floor and ran 2x2 tube in there as subrfame connectors and a place to mount a rollcage if needed. Hi Stubbe! Went to Tech in RC, from Aberdeen, good to see some SODAK people here! Great town, still have quite a few friends there and get back there every 5 years for the Tech reunions.:beer
Sorry, only kinda from sd. Pretty nice place though. The hills are awsome for cruising. How do you know if its a 61 or 62. Kinda trying to figure that out because the place I bought it is trying to get a title for me. All there stuff says its a 61 Sport coupe Skyark.
