im looking for larger 4 on 4.5 rims that would fit a 62 wagon. something 14 15 16 or even 17. eventually ill do disc swap when i figure out whats needed. i was looking for 15 or 16s, steelies maybe that i could paint body color and put poverty caps on.
Convert to five lug A local guy converted his 62 Skylark to five lug wheels. He used Corvair five lug brake drums up front and had the four lug holes in his rear axles welded in and redrilled for five lugs. Now he uses standard 14 inch Buick Rally wheels. Looks really sharp.
that should be the same set up as the 62-64 chevy II/nova. and they make kits for those [of course:rant: ]
anyone know where i can find a kit, ive tried online but havent had luck. maybe im using the wrong keywords.
would an upgraded nova subframe work? i think that is what i was thinking about. they have been using those and mustang II subs for years in hot rods.
