Been for sale for a looong time.If it's rust free i think it would be a sweet project for a SBB.:beer You just dont see these anymore. http://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/2720825713.html
That could be a fun project. Wasn't there a guy in the NW that used to put Buick 300 cranks in those 215s? Seems like he was using 5.0 Ford rods also. I'm not sure how it went. Bob H.
That would be fun to have. I have a 350 and tranny from a 69 GS sitting there doing nothing.... Too bad it's way over there.
Well Jamie and Glen, I really appreciate the offer but you see I just got done with a very long divorce and custody battle and I need to cover tens of thousands of dollars of debt. It might be a while before I'm buying and playing with any new cars.
I do appreciate the offer. It would be cool with my 350 in it. That light little wagon would be pretty fast! I think I need to get myself a pickup truck and get some bills paid before I can think of any new toys though. Probably another year or so and I'll be back in the game though.
Between the cascades and the rocky mountains there are a lot of old cars that are in very respectable shape. It's fairly dry through that whole area. West of the cascades, wet. Anything that has spent years sitting outside will have rust issues. If it's sitting on dirt, lots of rust issues. It's amazing some of the sheetmetal that I've seen in Western Montana!
And here's an even nicer 62 Wagon. Lots more money but it would be money well spent for someone since this one is going to take less money. (maybe) I could see me driving that thing! :bglasses: http://boise.craigslist.org/cto/2722815019.html 1962 Buick Invicta Wagon - $3900 (Nampa, ID) Date: 2011-11-27, 9:33AM MST Reply to: see below [Errors when replying to ads?] 401 Nailhead engine, Buick Wildcat 445. I think your right Jamie! I am without a Buick or even any classic car to work on. I've got so much money to pay with attorney fees and bills that I can't even afford to pick up a cheap car to work on then sell for a profit so that I can build up a Buick fund! Who knows, maybe it will still be around when I get the first several thousand dollars worth of priority bills paid and am left with manageable payments. It is just an old '62 Buick with no title after all! I would bet he would jump at a $500 offer. I still say the other one is a heck of a deal for someone who can scrape together $3,900. Good looking running nail powered wagon. That thing should be able to burn through the 17" low profiles in no time so that you could put proper wheels and tires on it.
