I need a useable section of original AC duct hose for my '65 GS. I had enough from a parts car for the passenger side run, but need one to run from the distribution duct to the vent on the drivers side now. No one makes reproduction duct that looks correct nor do they make it in the right size (2-3/4" i.d.) I got some from Cars and it is too small (2-1/2"), plus the wire spacing in the duct is about twice as much as the original and it doesn't look correct.
Anyone got a parts car that has the drivers side section of the AC duct still in tact that they will sell me? This is a '65, so a '64 or '65 is prefered since it will already be bent in the right shape and be the right length. I could also make one from a '66 or '67 work too I think.

I should have some from a 67 GS 400 if it will work.
If you cant find the 64-65 stuff.

'67 is the same diameter/type of duct. Let me measure and figure out how long a section I need for my car since I am not sure if the '66-'67 style is longer/shorter/the same length as the '64-'65. I will measure tonight and post it on here in the morning.

Brain, Here is what I have. One is about a 1 1/2 feet and the other is a little more than 2 feet long.

That is what I need--the long one that is. I estimated the run under the dash with a tape measure and got somewhere between 27 and 28 inches. The distribution duct and AC box under the dash is the same from '64-'67, the only difference is the location of the vent over on the drivers side--it is an inch or so higher on the dash in '64-'65 than it is on the '66-'67.
Let me know how much you want for it--you can Email me at stonesautomotive@juno.com
