64-67 conv't boot velcro/plastic bead part fits in the metal channel on backseat

    Ed. try Ames Pontiac the GTO book page 70 of the on line catalog. I seen this is a chevy book also but not sure what one. Thanks Bill.

    Thanks Bill. I looked in there and could not find one. If I cant see it with the page number given to me I will seek professional help. I wish I could make the swap meet but my brother is holding a surprise 40th party for his wife this weekend.

    I assume you have the channel.

    The round bead that slides in the channel is part of the top boot.

    If yours is missing, contact any interior shop in your area and ask them for seat piping material. It will have to be sewn in or fed into the sleeve in the top boot.

    ED the part number from Ames is H104C 1964-67 Velcro slider, $17.00

    This velcro sides into the channel on the back of the seat and "sticks" to the velcro on the top boot.

    This is the discription from the catalog. The hard copy catalog I have list this on page 68. I thought The Parts Place had them but cannot find them.

    Yes I am looking forward to a road trip. Hope some of the snow melts before Sat. Anything I can look for you up there. Let me know, thanks Bill.
