For sale or trade, '64 Buick Special 2 door sedan, (Buick model 4027) Year One CT350PC1 400 horse SBC, dual plane air gap intake, hydraulic roller cam. New: 770 Holley Street Avenger carb. Accel H.E.I. distributor. TCC 700R4 tranny w/stall converter and B&M shifter. Sun 5" tach w/shift light. Sunpro, water temp, oil pressure and amp gauges. Auburn posi w/Yukon 3:36 ring and pinion, it was rebuilt by Libson, everything new except axles, still good after inspection. Catco custom cut drive shaft w/H.D. U joints. Alan Grove alternator bracket. Headers and exhaust system. Gas tank. Buick dog dish hub caps. Grant steering wheel. Power steering pump. I have original build sheet, owners manual and Buick Guard a Plate booklet. I've put on about 2500 miles over the past 3 years. Have receipts for everything, including dyno sheets for motor. Interior is an 8 out of 10. Body doesn't have as much rust that is typical of a 49 year old Midwestern car, but it has its share, (behind wheel well, around rear window and some in trunk). The frame has issues but is repairable, (it drives and stops straight). Has a lifter tick at higher R.P.Ms, I can't figure it out. Lumpy street machine idle, will get sideways in second gear. 1850 R.P.M.s @ 60 mph cruising. It needs work to straighten out some issues but it is an excellent starting point for a project that's mostly done. I would like to sell or trade for a smaller SUV like a Pathfinder or similar, no Tahoe's or the like(too big). Bring vehicle if you want to trade. Just wondering, what size tires and rims do you have on the back, the stance is great, and the tires on the rear are the biggest (width) I think I have seen in a while. Great looking Special by the way, and good luck with the sale, wished you were closer! Doug
