I'm kind of looking for a project car. It should be fairly solid but I'm not real fussy about the trunk and floors as much as I am the frame and window channels. I wouldn't mind this being complete minus engine/trans but wiring and interior parts are appreciated. Chrome helps but is not necessary. I don't mind some minor dents or scrapes either. Cheap and east of the Mississippi are key. I know, I'm asking for an awful lot. :TU:
Yep and it's a really nice one. But I'm looking for something bone stock and in need of TLC, preferrably as described earlier (a lot cheaper).
skylark hi, there's a man up here that has 2 65 skylark for sale. one is mostly a part car. but the bodys look good. i had thought about buying them myself but i have enough on me right now. One can be driven that's what he told me.he wants 700.00 for the pair. i have went there several times but he works crazy hours and it's hard to catch him. if i get his phone number i will give it to you....the cars are in NC right down the road from me...mike
On the two GS's on eBay the parts car is a hardtop and the one to be fixed up is a post car. The interior parts like door panels, etc can not be transferred between cars. Also, interior parts for post cars are difficult to find. I would recommend sticking with a car that just needs TLC. Of course, its not my money either.
