I lean towards the purist but life is too short searching for something as rare as a 64 or 65 Super Wildcat Wildcat convertible 4 speed. I also entertain the idea of a 66 Wildcat Convertible (GS OMFG!) if one came about, again I am not holding my breath. The 64 dual quad set up air cleaner, carbs, intake, 2-4 distributor, linkage & plumping + aluminum rocker covers is mine. 64 (BB of course) flywheel, bell housing, cast iron T-10, cross member, drive shaft and posi rear, brake & clutch pedals, linkage, small console, shift rods, shifter, steering column is all there. I think I have all my ducks in a row regarding the Super and the 4 speed, if not please by all means what am I missing? Were there any small console bucket seat cars without the consolette between the seats? Would the above 4 speed set up fit a 66 with only a longer drive shaft or would I be playing with a trans cross member, pinion flanges etc? Do I realize the car would not be a high dollar, correct car? YES. Would the car be a jaw dropper and a blast to drive? If NO is your answer seek a mental heath professional NOW! Mike
