'64 Skylark Conv

Clean car but i'm no fan of the seats and door panels.

 

nice paint...cool color...but hey...arent those '65 dash knobs? they dont match my '64's....

 

The BUICK letters on the trunk lid are cool and the Skylark emblem has been removed. Those are 65 knobs too. I like the polished molding but when I wanted to do it the pot metal fronts were all scuffed for the paint and would have needed to be rechromed.

 

I like the letters on the trunk...nice job & color combo.
I'll be painting mine at a future date...hmmm..I'll have to look at polishing my side trims too...it looks sharp..

How about the seat pockets on the back of the seats. I dont think I would have done that.

I still love the car. It just needs a few things fixed.

 

Nice looking car, however, I'm 99% sure that it has a 65 dash. Oh, and the pouches on the seat backs have to go.

I wonder if it began life as a 65 Special?? Only the VIN knows for sure.
