Some rust problems? The guy left the broom laying on the trailer from where he had to sweep up half the car after loading it. Tom

That's even worse than the 65 with "a small rust spot" on the quarter that I looked at this weekend. Two new quarters, an interior, an engine and tranny, paint, general body straightening and light rust repair and the one I saw would be fine!
Everyone thinks what they have is a gold mine.

I was going to make some smart-eleck remark about the quality of the drugs that Steve from Rathdrum has been smoking, and the fact that he's been watching too much Barrett-Jackson, but I've changed my mind.

Instead, I'll ask a question. What would something like that really be worth? :Do No: Joe has a convertible, that looks much better, that he has had a hard time selling for $1200. (I'd have bought that one if my wife hadn't threatened my happy home.)

So, help me (and others) out. How do you figure out the value on Steve's car. It's ugly and has tons of surface rust but doesn't look like a total "Rust-Bucket" and I have seen worse restored.

    Your turn....

If yours was in Rathdrum I would be asking more questions and heading over to look at it.
I would make a ridiculous low ball offer, but I would be checking it out if it were only 400 to 450 miles from here.
Yours couldn't have any more rust than a lot of the "clean" or "has a spot of rust" cars that I've looked at.
