Nick, will the guy consider going aftermarket?
Bellhousing is avail from Bendtsen, flywheel from TA or American Powertrain, then use a Hyd throwout. Ted has done this.
There are a lot of unique parts used in the 65-66 GS setup. Tough to find them all, especially the frame bracket which is welded on:

Expect to pay about $2500 or more for the whole package when you do find one. Good luck.

I have a 66 Skylark Special with the 225 v6 and 3sp on column. I'm told the bellhousing, fork, z bar, linkage and pedals are all the same on A Bodies....So I have everything

The 65-66 GS with Nailhead uses the same pedals but everything else is different. Nailhead has the starter on the drivers side so conventional V6-small block-400-455 linkage won't fit..... see the pic I posted above.
Todd- your setup will fit V6-300-340-350- and likely even 400-430-455.

Nick, I didn't hear back from you since my last PM about picking up the 401. I have some time off from work in Sept, let me know.
