Waite till he finds out that not only it isn't a 65, it's not a Gran Sport either. The car is a 64 with GS emblems.
Looks like a mix of 64 and 65. 64 front clip and dash pad, 65 Special radio panel and trunk panel, tail lights. These I noticed right away. Probably more mismatches picked up by more familiar eyes. ou:
Car is in very good shape for the year, and put back right you will have a $30k plus car ! :error: Exterior is very solid with minimum work to bring it back to original look. :error: What a rough puppy,even I wouldn't want it.p
