Hi Guys. I'm looking for a set of Door Edge Guards for a '65 Skylark 2 Door. Nothing bent up. If they have a few dents that's ok. I can hammer them out. Let me know what you have. Thanks.

I've got plenty of Wildcat ones for 65! I may be hallucinating, but my 4-door may have them. Let me take a look at condition/existence.

Will they fit on a Skylark? Are the curves the same? What about the Break at the door crease?

Since they're Yours, You tell me what you want for them. I don't like the idea of pounding them on my doors either. Makes me cringe at the thought. Seeing a layer of paint on the edges of them after they're on. Ouch!! Are they New, Used or Auto Zone Plastic? I don't want to have to talk you out of them. You can shoot me a price and I can take them or leave them. Thanks for answering Man.

they are used off a 65 GS not perfect but decent ill do some research and see what they are going for and let you know I really dont think I am going to run them.on the Burgundy paint they really stick out .If it were a lighter color i would run them for sure .let me think about it and i will let you know this weekend

Thanks Bob. Yea, on a darker color they're nice. Like Wheel opening mouldings, You don't really notice them that much on a lighter car. I'd like a set on my Burgundy '65 GS. Mostly to break up the straight lines of the car. A chrome strip down the middle would set it off well. I have wheel opening mouldings and they stand out well.

So What is Not Perfect? Dents and Scratches? Flat spots where you've blasted other cars doors in Parking Lots?. Just let me know what you have, mull it around a bit.

Meanwhile, Does anyone else have a set?

Ponch, I have an NOS set, but wasn't thinking about selling them. However, they would look great on your burgundy car. Let me ponder this until the weekend... BTW, 4 door guards will not fit a 2 door car without some "massaging". The body lines are slightly different.

Hey Thanks Tom. NOS would be nice but the price is what would hold me back if they're too much. Thanks for responding.

LowFlyLark Time for a mild custom.

I have one orphan that is straight but has dents. It can be saved with a little filing and polishing. I'll see if I can find it so I can tell you what side it's from.
