1965 Buick Electra 225 Convertible top needs help going down or up. Looking for tech info on operation and R&R of motor or other top components. Have 11/2 inch 65 buick shop manual that does not get into the conv top operation nor component locations. Thanks Robert harvey
Check for leaks; If none and motor runs check fluid level; and If fluid level is OK then bleed air from the system. Other causes could be biding in the top itself joints or cables but from your description I presume not in your case.

Purchase a Fisher bidy manual for the 65. Covers all aspects of the convertible top operations including filling top resivor and bleeding. Useful on all ajustments of body and convt top. Always some on e-bay. Yes the rear seat has to be remove, but you also can acess through the trunk. Jim Schilf palbuick@aol.com
