For sale ad must list selling price per board rules;and just makes sense as anyone looking wants to know price anyway so may as well save everyone some time,thanks. .
yeah, I just thought leads meant just that. I know where there is a car and it could be for sale. I would love to know what this thing is worth as is. I would then talk to the owner about a hard number.
I thought that was board rules;but maybe not in leads section I don't know. But if someone wants to sell something their are 4 things at a minimum that should be put in the ad,what you are selling,selling price,items location,and contact info it really is not a ad without this info. It would still be a poor ad with only these four points in the ad but it is at least a basic starting point for a 4sale item.If looking for what it is worth best bet is a auction type sale and let market set top price.Hope this doesn't sound to negitive but any even remotely possible buyer will need the 4 basic points known before they would know if they are interested in the item so that info ought to be posted in the first mention of the item for sale.
I do not argue with your comment, I have posted this car before and got little interest. I would just like some idea what it is worth as is. I can't find much info on any that have sold. I think the market for these have picked up a bit since the last time we tried to get it out there. Sorry if I am out of line here, just trying to help out a friend but I really would just like to see someone save this car.
no the market is way down on 65s and dont know why....theres been a couple members cars that where really decent and they just didnt sell...
What condition is the trunk floor and floorboards? does car run and drive? is drivetrain the original numbers matching? has motor ever been rebuilt? is the rust under the whole vinyl top or just on LH qtr pillar? does water leak around ft or rr glass? selling price?
What if , I see a car that is for sale. The car has a for sale sign and a phone number. No price. I can't post that ... Is that what you're saying?
This is for posting leads most the time its from a unknown seller, you don't need the price. I agree if someone really wants to sell a car they should post the price but not everyone thinks that way, they might think they'll get more calls from folks wanting to know the mystery. Who knows.every ones got their own little tricks.
I looked at this thread about cars and parts for sale and I didn't see "leads" so the price may not be required in the leads section if it is just a lead but it WILL BE if you want to sell it at SOME point.I was interested in getting more info and a selling price because I have a interest in buying the car possibly depending on info; but he doesn't know what he wants for it and I don't know if I want to buy it or not.
