Is that really a GS? There doesn't seem to be much in the way of badging and looks kind of plain in the trim department but I don't know much about 65's. Just seems like it should say "Gran Sport" somewhere?

Wow early emblem GS, probably decent solid Cali car as well. Looks like a good builder for someone.

its called a small badge car...as in small grill badge....very early production...has correct GS fenders..no side trim,,, its missing the sail panel embs, but they probably came off because the vinyl top is gone...its got a nail head...id bet its right...

that grill emb is sooooooooooooooooo rare...

i wish i could swing it..if it wasnt so far away it would be in KC..lol

its only the second small badge car ive ever seen..the other is a black one in Tennessee, a black convert....

really rare id gues by now...

  11. I parted out a small badge 4 speed 65 GS about 8 years ago. it was factory black with tan interior. looking back i think it was a restorable car by today's standards

Missing wheel well trim also, was that omitted on the small badge cars ?...Whats up with that console, looks like the front has been hacked off ?

  13. So are you or aren't you going to share the more pix??

Wheel trim probably went the way of the front and rear window trim. Wheel trim was a package option with the beltline trim. Has the wide moldings under the windows so it came with the wheel well moldings too. Looks like someone took a sawzall to the console to get the tach.
