Yep, I'm sure that's what it is. There is no engine right now and it's set up for a chevy 350 so he may not know a lot about Buick. Besides, remember that when GM gave the go ahead on the muscle cars in '65 they said 400 cubic inch limit so they called the 401 nailhead a 400 cubic inch engine.
Good luck to the seller on this one. My numbers match, needing restoration, fully drivable 65 GS hit $3500. on ebay a couple of weeks ago. I'd part it out before letting it go that cheap.
