I was in the process of ordering a boot from Acme, and they asked me if I need a velcro or slide boot... I told them that I didn't have either one.. The rep from Acme told me that if I didn't have velcro on the back of the seat I should have a bar behind the rear seat that the boot will slide on. I don't have that bar. Are any of you familiar with what I am speaking of and might know where i could get the bar that I need?

    Thanks

I'll get a picture tomorrow. I probably have an extra slide boot job I can sell you.

I can get that air cleaner # for you tomorrow too. Relax, have a :beer :beer :beer (or 3)

Thanks!! Would you prefer the slide or velcro method of attaching the boot? Would you consider it a pain in the ass to install and uninstall the boot using the slide?

I prefer the slide one, as long s the track is clean, it slides in and out easily. I rarely take my boot off, when you undo the back you flip it forward toward/over the back seat, once the top is up flip it back into the convertable top well. This method makes sure you always have your boot, it doesn't get damaged in the trunk, and it's much quicker.
