I'm wondering if this'll work. I don't like the idea of the old "pop w/a butter knife" style. These are a cranking assembly.

Maybe I didn't add enough info. Can these cranks be attached to the post for my vent windows inside the door? :Do No: Did this option come on Buicks? Skylarks? If it did, maybe it'll work. I don't particularly want to go tearing my door apart if it won'k work. Sorry stockers, I want my car to be how I envision it.

It was not available on "A" bodies. I have never seen it done, doesn't mean it can't be done. But I do not think doing all that work will help keep unwanted people out of your car. These old cars are way easy to get into. And even with cranks and maybe slide locks the wing glass can still be forced open fairly easy.

Thanks for the input. I just think it would be a cool touch. If the door has the spot for it, and the mechanisms "mesh".
I guess it wont be that much work to pull the door panel off and see.

Yeah, I know. If someone wants in, they will get in. Even if it means busting out the window. :(
I've already added some sneaky bits to stop that. i.e.: A locking electrical switch with a tubular lock. It's inline on the pos. cable.
Same thing with the fuel line.
A little blinky led for the fake-out.:Brow:
An air pressure sensitive alarm. (This thing puts a spike behind your eyes!)
And a club that goes from the brake to the steering wheel.
All this may be overkill for a '66 'Lark, but it's my baby and I don't want to lose her. :TU:
