Hi I am in need of a good core for the back of my 65 bucket seat.I only need the back piece for the drivers seat.My bottom is good but the back is rusted beyond repair as it laid on its back and moisture got to it and the frame and springs are rusted beyond repair.Only need to have decent metal and springs, upholstery on it is not important. Please help if anyone has a spare one laying around from a project. Can post a pic of the style seat if needed but they are the common A body seats found in Skylark,Chevelle,Pontiac,Corvair etc in the early to mid sixties.I may be mistaken but I think actually the drivers side and passenger uses the same back only different trim.

You are not going to believe this Bruce, but I have exactly what you are asking for! The bottom of my drivers seat was toast beacuse of an overweight driver sometime in it's past. One of my parts cars still had one of the two bucket seats in it, so I used the bottom when I had the seats in my GS done. The back of it has been in my parts storage room for years ever since hoping someone might need it someday. I think I even have a box it will fit in to ship it. How about $40 plus shipping?

Hey Brian, how much do you think it will cost to ship it,does it have foam and cover or is it just the frame and springs?I am in Columbus,NE 68601 of course as you shipped me the carpet I bought from ya.Any idea on the 4 speed Hump yet?Let me know what you think shipping will be and if you are going to be able to do the hump for me and maybe we can handle it all at once if that would be OK, Thanks...............Bruce.

The seat back is complete minus the chrome strips up the sides--still has all the upholstery and everything on it (upholstery is no good, but it is all there). It will probably cost around $30 to ship it. I still have the hump on my list of things to do--I hope to get to it in the next two weeks. I will box the seat up and get a shipping total on it if you like. Putting the hump in the box once it is done won't add any to the shipping cost.
